The Art in the Heart Art and Craft show in Augusta, Georgia was a wonderful event. The variety of offerings, the promoter, the weather and our location were perfect. We want to thank the town of Augusta and the wonderful people who live there for making us feel most welcome and for the many compliments you paid to our products. You made the making of our cowhide handbags and leather accessories all the more exciting. Thank you. We certainly appreciate your business and look forward to seeing you next year.
We just added an exciting new dimension to our Bonnie Jayne Art offerings. Based on comments we received at various shows, we listened and have started a new offering geared more for the men but not exclusively so. We added items made from buffalo to our offering. we’re starting out with “possibles” bags patterned after the bags used by mountain men during the fur trade years. As with all Bonnie Jayne Art bags, these ruggedly handsome bags are hand cut and hand stitched in the Native American style using sinew rather than thread for added strength and durability. We hope you like this fun addition to our line.
Our first three shows in 2017 have been fantastic. We started out at the Mt. Dora Spring show, then went to Ocala for our first (and definitely not our last) rodeo and the Cherry Blossom Festival in Macon, GA. We’re now getting ready for the Blueberry Festival in Brooksville, FL April 21-23rd and the Jacksonville Jazz Festival May 26-28. In between Brooksville and the Jazz Festival, we’ll be heading to New England to see family and friends there and attend a wedding. We’ll also be making a side trip to take a look at some new hides on the way.
If you can, stop by one of our shows. We’d love to see you and show you some our latest creations.
The team at Bonnie Jayne Art thanks all our family, friends, customers and suppliers for making 2016, our first full year in business, a great year. The wonderful reception you gave our natural cowhide products was tremendously encouraging. We’re taking January and February to replenish our inventory and to create new and exciting looks. We plan on hitting the show circuit in March and look forward to seeing you. We’ll keep you updated on our show schedule on the “Come see us” page of our web site.
Thanks again for a fantastic 2016.

We had a great time at the Mistletoe Market on St. Simons Island. We met so many wonderful folks. Thank you all who stopped by our booth.
The team is spending the week of 17 July at the William Holland School of Lapidary in Young Harris, Georgia. We plan to expand our creative skills to the areas of beading and gem faceting. Our goal is to bring the skills we learn there to the Bonnie Jayne Art product line as a way of enhancing the unique, one-of-a-kind nature of our natural cowhide handbags and leather accessories.
What a great time we had at AthFest. This was our first time at AthFest participating as an Artist at the marketplace. We thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this wonderful event. A great big “thank you” goes out to the show promoters, the volunteers and especially to you, our new friends who stopped by our booth to look, to buy, or just say hello. We are certainly looking forward to seeing you again next year.
Thank you to all who stopped by our booth at the Blues, Jazz and BBQ Festival in Savannah, GA. last weekend. Even the heat and rain squalls didn’t dampen your enthusiasm. We enjoyed meeting you and talking with you.
